Rewards on the Morpho app

The vaults and market eligible to rewards are identified with a three little blue stars logo:

You can hover on the APY (for a vault) or the Borrow rate (for a market) to see the breakdown of the rate featuring potential rewards:

You can monitor your rewards (claimable and accruing) in the top of main Earn and borrow pages on your position recap section.

You will access the rewards details and claim by clicking on the "Rewards" button:

Rewards on Morpho are distributed via Merkl.
Alternatively, one can monitor and claim its rewards via the Merkl app.

Before Merkl distribution implementation, rewards were distributed via the Morpho Universal Rewards Distributor system. To check and claim potential old rewards please follow this section.

If you should be eligible for rewards but don't see your claimable balance increase after an 8h cycle, it is possible that there is some delay on Merkl rewards distribution.

Yes, all rewards distributed via Merkl have a one year expiry date after the rewards campaign ends (Merkl documentation).

Merkl's infrastructure also allows campaign creators to "reallocate" unclaimed rewards after a campaign ends. This means any rewards you haven't claimed may be retrieved by the creator, and you would lose access to them (Merkl documentation).

While most campaign creators allow a reasonable claiming period, it's possible for rewards to be reallocated shortly after a campaign ends, which could reduce your claimable balance.

To avoid the expiry date but allow users ample time to claim their rewards, the rewards distributed by Morpho governance will be reallocated 11 months after the end of the campaign.

Before Morpho transitioned to the Merkle-based rewards system, rewards were distributed through a different mechanism, the Morpho Universal Rewards Distributor.

If you earned rewards before July 2025, you may have unclaimed tokens.

You can still claim them using the claim app: https://rewards-legacy.morpho.org/

The tool will display:

Note: The "Claimable" amount may not match "To claim" because "Claimable" shows the total rewards distributed to you, including rewards you've already claimed.

The tool provides all the parameters you need to claim your rewards directly through Etherscan.

You just have to click to the Claim button, it will bring you to the Etherscan page.

There, you first need to connect your wallet.

And input the required parameters provided by the claim app (you can use the copy button):

Click on write and it will trigger the claim transaction on your wallet.

Repeat the operation if you have several rewards lines that appear on the claim app.
